I've had a love for fashion since I was a little girl. I grew up in a family where both my parents were born in Italy. They became successful with their small business of full-service hair salons, in the Boston area, that I witnessed first hand.
I was inspired by them because of their hard work ethic, cultivating life long friendships with their clients, & a natural style for hair, beauty & fashion.
I began my career path in retail at 16 years old, continued thru college with various sales positions, & upon graduation, was afforded the opportunity to work at Neiman Marcus for a long tenure. I learned from some of the best in the industry. This gained me exposure to specialty retailing, strong management skills and I developed an impeccable eye for fabrics, patterns & details. I fell in love with the fast pace of retail always evolving!
My dream was always to open my own boutique, and that came true in April, 2015.
Experience, knowledge and hardwork are key factors to running a successful business.
Being a breast cancer survivor, I've learned to persevere. At the same time, I'm grateful to be able to give back thru out the year to different foundations & my own community. Giving back to the community is very gratifying, and continues to come full circle when you are doing good for others.
As many small business owners experienced, the Covid-19 Pandemic stopped my store's momentum in it's tracks.
I was forced to find creative & innovative ways, to do business differently. This led me to taking the leap, towards opening my new online store.
Thru marketing, social media, and cultivating personal relationships with my clients, I've been fortunate to have the balance of the right ingredients & strong belief for continued success for Revel. I'm truly blessed.
My hope is this for my boutique....
that Revel Winchester is a destination for a total shopping experience, giving each customer exceptional, personalized service, with a curated assortment of goods, for one stop shopping!
